Home with the Lord
My grandma went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 5th at 6:30 PST. She was ready to go - all she wanted was to be in His presence and to glorify Him for all of eternity. That was evidenced by the life that she lived. Ever since I was a little girl, Grandma was the kindest, most sincere woman. She was a true example of godliness and beauty. She loved her family deeply, and prayed for her children, whom she called her most treasured possession, daily. She also prayed for her grandchildren daily, prayers that I now will miss in my life. Sitting with her the days and hours before she passed away, I reminisced about all the good times I had with her. I looked through the many albums she had put together - family memories, her travels, and times with friends. I prayed that the Lord would take her to a better place, a place she can call home. She is there now, enjoying her beautiful garden of everlasting flowers.I will never forget my grandma's smile, or her fervent love for Christ.
