Fall Back - literally

When daylight savings ended September 29th, I had no idea I'd "fall back" in other areas. Here's a re-cap for November that doesn't quite do justice, but will have to suffice!

* I finally had my last chiropractor appointment from my car accident in July - now I need to file the claim with the insurance, which I'm not looking forward to

* I spent a weekend in New Jersey with my dear friend Ashley - it was totally a bizarre weekend, but I made fabulous new memories and bought a cute jacket. Would you wait 1.5 hours for a table at Red Lobster to then be seated at a bar-height table in the bar that had been available the entire time? What would you think of a man in his fifties who talks to himself and takes pictures of his white cat(as it follows him) while riding his bike on the campus of Princeton? (As you might imagine, these both CLEARLY have more to the stories - ask me!)

* Flew to Huntsville, Alabama for work. I was checked into the National Airport as a man - yup - and I made it through security and all. Should I call the White House? Walter Swist Jr - if you ever read this, I certainly hope you made it to Huntsville that evening!

* Spent too many hours at work work work - blah

* Flew home for Thanksgiving!!!!! Highlights include:
* Enjoying the company of my family and seeing my grandmother's new digs
* Visiting my relatives and meeting my cousin Christina's 9 mo. old daughter
* Playing a new board game - Carcason, with my friend Laurie
* Spending time with my friend Sara and her husband Norm, in Modesto
* Finding out Christina is pregnant again and Min is pregnant
* Getting stuck in my parents garage after learning the electricity went out (and having to manually open the garage door after rolling out of bed)
* Staying up till 4am playing Mafia - even though I wasn't once Mafia!
* Having a gingerbread bagel from Uncle Harry's - my favorite!
* Spending $280 on prescription eye drops after finding out I have VERY dry eyes (at my annual visit to the eye doctor (ok, not really a highlight)

Sunday I go back to CA on a business trip - I'm flying to LAX and spending Monday in San Bernardino, then spending Tuesday/Wednesday in San Diego. I get back and will be in VA for less than two weeks before heading back to CA for Christmas - yippee!!! More family, more fun, another gingerbread bagel, more Carcason!
