I had a FANTASTIC weekend -- too exciting to write briefly about, but I'll try!

Friday
Jerelyn and Ashley arrived and made yummy brownies. We went to dinner and saw a movie -- date night LOL. Pizza hadn't tasted so good forever - probably because it was the first time I've had it in 2007! We stayed up too late, as usual.

Saturday
We toured Mount Vernon, D.C. Monuments, and had dinner at Famous Luigi's (I had eaten there so many times I should have earned a free meal by now - you too Ashley!!), and hung out (yes, that includes eating yummy brownies).

Sunday
We went down to the Iwo Jima Memorial and then out to Annapolis, MD to search for cute midshipmen. Ok, we went for the sightseeing and the tour, but that was a bonus for sure :) Then we parted ways :(, and I got stuck in traffic due to the almost blizard-like snow conditions!!! Oh that was fun :)

I booked a flight home to visit the first weekend in April!! I'm really excited to go home. It's only been about 7 weeks since I was home over Christmas/New Years, but I'm ready for another visit! It's also the first time I'll be home over Easter in 7 years! I just can't get enough of California!

In other news, my Director and new boss, just got promoted to the VP of HR over the Sector of our company headquartered in Redondo Beach, CA. I'm super excited for her, although sad that I won't get to work with her much longer. In fact, they want her to start her new position in 1 1/2 weeks! Changes is the name of the game I guess! So now I'm in a new role, and will have a new boss - craziness!
