Connectedness
We were designed to be connected to others - in fellowship, in love. Everyone yearns to be close - to something, to someone.
I love my family. I love my friends. I love my church and my small group. Over the years, I have experienced increasing connectedness with them, growing ever closer through difficulties, challenges, and tears, through joyful times, excitement, marriages and new life. I have amassed innumerable memories through connections and closeness.
However, nothing in this world can compare to the closeness and connection I have with the Creator. When I desire closeness, He holds me closer than anyone physically can; when I lack feelings of connectedness, I call on Him, who will always answer, and am reminded that only He can fill me up.
We were designed to be connected to others - our families, friends, church bodies, but most importantly, we were designed to be connected to God. How close are you to your Creator?

Yes, community is huge - and HEALTHY relationships with a heart to love and serve those around you are the key to life - that's what God designed us for, right? :-) It's as simple and as challenging as that!
