I don't know what to say
Sometimes I just just don't know what to say. That isn't the case today, however! I have, however, not had nearly as much time as I used to have to blog. Again, it's been a month. I'm learning, in a variety of areas of my life, that priorities change, and it is up to me to accept the natural "shifts" in life.
I have my own "shifts".
I am in a new small group - the Lord cracks me up sometimes in the ways that He works. And He really amazes me, first and foremost. I was already studying Proverbs 31 when I met a couple of girls (separately) at church who were all in a small group - coincidentally, also studying Proverbs 31 -- and even with a book by the same Author as the book I'm studying. Over a couple of weeks, my schedule worked out to where I could commit to the group. I fit in really well with the group, which was really essential for me. Not that I'm not open to many types of people or anything, but we are all at somewhat similar places in our lives. SO refreshing!
Eggs, berries, and nuts
I have changed my diet/lifestyle. I am now eating low carb and am on a fitness routine that in time, will prove excellent results for my health and for my future family. Now that spring is here and summer around the corner, I'm looking forward to cycling again. Next year, I hope to train for a bike race - either through the Leukemia Society or American Cancer Society (I still need to do some research).
Family
I recently visited CA, and spent some quality time with my family, Granted it was (and never is) enough time, I had a great time....I hung out with my brothers, attended a baby shower for Molly, and assisted my dad in pulling off a surprise 60th birthday for my mom (who was definitely surprised!). I had the opportunity to see only a few friends this trip home, including wedding and bridesmaid dress shopping with Jerelyn for her wedding in December. I'm looking forward to taking some time off this summer to be in CA with my brothe and sis-in-law as they become proud parents.
Sleep
I have always needed more, and since it's now past midnight, I'm going to do just that!

It was so fun seeing you while you were in town, even if only for a few hours! What a special way to spend our time too, looking at dresses! Can't wait to see you again, hopefully this summer!
How's the ankle? All healed?
It was terrific, as always, having you here. Love you!
