It's raining....house devaluation

It's raining out -- and it's 63 degrees! I think the high was 70 degree today -- NOT usual February weather for northern Virginia, that's for sure. Last year on Valentine's Day I was stuck home because of a snow/ice storm -- not so sure tht will happen this year (thankfully!)

I received my 2008 County house assessement in the mail today -- it's kinda depressing......this housing market has really taken a dive -- the fair market assessment of my house decreased 27% during 2007. Thankfully, the land value increased 33% during the year, so the overall fair market assessment only decreased 15%. Still, 15% is a lot when you talk home assessment. I guess this is another way God is telling me that my life is here on the E.C. for now. Until this housing market takes off, I'm not moving anywhere!
