[Memorial Day Weekend]
I had such a great time in CA! I got to spend quality time with my family and friends, which is always such a pleasure to me! On Saturday I had Tea at a Tea House for the first time, on Sunday I went to church, hung out with my parents, brother, and grandmother and played games with her and my mom, my bestest friend showed up at my house unexpectedly(boy did Jen surprise me!), and I got to hang out with some of my closest friends Sunday night - playing games and even riding on an ATV! Monday my mom and I went shopping, and then spent the afternoon at home visiting with friends (including Shane and Leanna and the boys, Deborah - who is 7 months pregnant!, Laurie, Carrie, Jen, Kathy and Kevin, and of course, my family!) My brother BBQ'd tri-tip and we enjoyed the nice weather. Tuesday I got to visit more with Carrie, and we also apent quality time with Mandy, Thomas, and Emily. Thomas is 3 now - he has a big boy hair cut, and it's really fun to carry on actual conversation with him! Princess Emily is adorable as ever, and is walking around getting into things as an almost 1 1/2 year old should! Unfortunately, I got delayed on my return flight, and so I had to take a red eye out of LA at 10:30pm.......I got home at 7am on Wednesday, showered, and went into work. That was not so fun. I got a bit sick due to it - I developed a sore throat and a fever Thursday/Friday.
[Barry's visit]
My boyfriend Barry spent time with me this past weekend - we went to Great Falls Park, which is only 20 mintues from my house! The weather was perfect and the park and the falls were beautiful! I think I did say "it's not Yosemite", but for only being 20 minutes away, I was very lucky to have discovered this park and look forward to spending more time there - with Barry, and with others as well.
And for those of you who want a closer look...... :)

[Dating with Pure Passion]
For the next 8 weeks, I'm attending a DVD series and discussion at my church on this topic. Tonight was the first session - it was interesting. I think after I begin reading the book I might be able to share what I have learned. I signed up to be a table facilitator - a good way to commit myself to being there every week. The funny thing is that I was not planning to go, but I heard God nudging me to go this morning, and the fact that I'm now a table facilitator reaffirms that!
