Jamestown / Yorktown pictures

My parents and I visited Jamestown and Yorktown today. Here I am on the "Discovery" - one of three ships that landed in Jamestown in 1607. The Discovery is the smallest of the three ships - it only held 9 crew and 12 passengers. It was also the only ship that remained in the colony to explore the rivers and the Chesapeake Bay. The ship was rocking in the gentle wind while I was on it - imagine it during the terrible storms endured on the journey from England to America! Posted by Hello

Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Maybe someday you can be my tour guide and show me around where you live :)
