Touring Edinburgh

Yesterday we slept in, and after eating a yummy breakfast consisting of pancakes and an egg, prepard by Chef Carrie, we toured Edinburgh on a double-decker bus - it was freezing!! We then went on a walking tour of the Royal Yacht - The Britiannia. Even though it rained a bit, we had a jolly time - it was worth every pound we paid :) We saw the movie "Shall We Dance?" at a big mall and got back to Carrie's flat quite late.

Today we toured the Hollyrood Palace - where the Queen visits and stays on visits to Edinburgh. The palace has beautiful gardens behond the Abby, where we got a bit silly taking pictures. Next we toured the Edinburgh Castle, which is where Scotlands Crown Jewels are kept. Next the Crown, and within the same glass box is a large stone, which has been used in Coronations throughout the centurys and has become a tradition - not as priceless as the Crown Jewels however!
