Back to the Daily Grind

Europe was a blast - I wish I were still there. It's amazing how refreshing a vacation can be, and also so dissapointing at the same time. the sad part comes when it ends, and you have to return to normal life again. I returned to the real world on Monday. It's n ow been three days and I'm wondering when my next vacation is! I will actually be heading to California over Memorial Day, but that seems like so far off!!!
I'm living in a basement right now. That sounds really dark and not that pleasant, but it's actually working out just fine. the lady I'm renting from is rarely there - so I have quiet time pretty much in the evenings. Unfortunately - I don' t have internet access!!! THAT I'm bummed about - I can't chat or upload Europe pictures :(
Escrow, or "Settlement", as it's called in Virginia, closed yesterday on my house. yah!!! Of course, now I have a house, but have to wait until the week of May 8th to move in, as the sellers wanted a short "rent-back" - I guess I can survive, but I can hardly wait!
I'm a bit tired and tonight I have more cleaning/unpacking to do at "home". not too exciting, I know, but it has to be done!!!
