Washing dishes by hand these days....
Well I'm washing dishes by hand these days because my dishwasher wouldn't start last night. I'm sad because it is a FULL LOAD! So now, I have to have someone come out on Friday morning to take a look at it - oh darn, you mean I'll have to work from home that morning?Plus!, I need to unload it and wash them all by hand! I was wondering why last time I ran the dishwasher it smelled funny. I think the motor burned out. Luckily it should be covered by my home warrantee, so I'm only out the $45 service call.
Washing dishes by hand isn't all that bad, actually - especailly when it's cold! The hot water makes me all warm :)

Six people in this flat and visitors all the time and no dishwasher!! It is mega fun.
I may not have 6 people living at my house like Carrie but it sure feels like it. I keep looking around thinking there must be more people in our house dirtying dishes. But, its just me and Ryan (and lots of company visiting) and we make quite the mess in the kitchen. Our dishwasher has a name at our house - its ME! That's right, I am the dishwasher. Thankfully Ryan did the dishes the last two nights :)
