Pitter Patter Pitter Patter

Pitter Patter - I love the rain. The sound of it, the fragrance of it - the fact that the rain we are having right this instant is supposed to help cool the weather down a bit! That would be nice! There were a few strikes of lighting tonight - and I didn't hear any thunder - so the storm isn't too close to me. I also like the rain because that means I don't have to water my lawn as often! - and let me tell you - that is GREAT!!! :)

I'm so jealous that you had RAIN! If we could just get rid of these darn 100 degree days, I'd be a happy camper. Actually, while I was hiking in Yosemite on Saturday we had a thunderstorm and it rained on us a bit...that was fun. :-) ...until we realized the trail (lined with granite rocks!) was all slippery...then we had to be EXTRA careful. Anyway...can't wait for the fall! :-)

WE had a thunderstorm last night too. THe lightning storms was amazing - just beautiful!!! And then the rain came and it poured. WE were driving home from Gunder (remember the pickles?) and I could BARELY see the lines painted in the middle of the road and definitely couldn't see up ahead of me at all. It was exciting stuff. I so love the rain. We had 3/4" in less than half an hour - yup it was a rain storm!

Okay, miss you, thanks for the gift Auntie Kristin. We better see you in CA.
