Days gone wrong

How annoying it is when everything that can go wrong in a day does. Today I woke up late, didn't make it on my exercise bike, still took the time to shave my legs so I could wear a certain skirt. I ironed the skirt and after 10 minutes of figuring out what to wear with it - realize that I don't have anything to wear with it. So then I have to choose clothes option number 2. My hair just didn't work with me - it ended up in a clip again. I was out of bagels and since I was now ultra late, breakfast was out of the question. Red lights, traffic diverted, and a cup of coffee later, I spill some on my suit and find out that the ATM is still out of money (I now owe two people money - I can't stand owing people money!) Get to work and have to follow-up on work that should have already been completed days/week ago - an inordinate amount of time wasted, and get piled high with action items that seem out of my control. Lunch didn't happen till 2:30pm, and the poor chicken got overcooked. Then with two phone calls and an interruption, the poor chicken became cold in addition to overcooked. Apparently I tried to pay a bill online last week but had the wrong banking information, so I had to spend 10 minutes on hold this afternoon to get to Customer service - to be transferred to another department - to find out that I had to log in to my account online to change the information. Then I find out that my bank charged me $20 two times for non-sufficient funds - all because I had the wrong banking information in there - go figure. I also call the Termite company because when I bought my home the previous owners did the inspection but only paid 1/2 the bill and the Termite company is now sending me bills. I already called the Title Company, who said they would pay it (this was over two weeks ago), and asked me to please fax the bill. I faxed the bill. Well of course the other day I got another bill so today I call and sure enough there still has been no payment and so I got to call the Title company back and I get their voicemail - and the lady who I spoke with last time of course doesn't have a mailbox on the system - but I could leave a message in the general mailbox - um - thanks, but no thanks. I decide to call the hair place where I had my hair done when I first moved here and they put me on hold - "for a second please" - oh no - for like 5 minutes. I sit and wait. The guy actually comes back on and asks me to continue holding - thanks, but no thanks, I'll call back another time. At least I was able to sort through and throw away most all the stickies I have accumulated on my desk from taking phone messages and writing notes to myself over the past few months - boy - what an accomplishment.

Have you read my blog? I have had a crappy day (well, not today but very recently) too!! Ugh, I hate it when that happens. You need an adult beverage. LOL, J/K. I am praying for you - that you will find time to de-stress!

Is there something going around that causes these days? It seems a lot of us have been having them. It is the enemy trying to get to us. We can't let him. Our God is so much bigger. Love ya and praying for you!
