Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day mom - I love you! I wish I could be there with you today. The rest of my family will enjoy time with her today; I will call.

Happy Mother's Day to my grandma's and Aunt's!! This Mother's Day I'm spending alot of time thinking about my grandma (my mom's mom). We found out that her cancer has spread, resulting in about a 20 pound weight loss and some bleeding. Now the Doctors want to do another colonoscopy to exactly pin point the cancer, but my grandma doesn't want to do another one. I can't even imagine how painful it is to have a colonoscpoy and subsequently more surgery, but she'll need to go through with it in order to save her life. Her body is becoming weaker - she now doesn't have energy to do some of life's simple tasks. My grandma, as always, is optimistic about her current treatment, and the outcome of her life, but it's so difficult to be on THIS side. Please pray for her, me, and our family.
