Trees need water

Trimming trees isn't the most exciting way to spend an early evening, but when almost the entire tree has been dead for over two weeks and you know that your neighbors must be saying to each other "I can't believe that new girl who lives there let her tree die and she isn't doing anything about it - it looks horrible", you somehow get motivated to take care of it.

Being a "condo"-owner now, I have additional responsibilities that I didn't have living in an apartment - taking care of the greenery on my patio being one of them. Even at my apartment I tried to have plants on my balcony but they all died - and I thought they'd keep me company........the only plant that has managed to stay alive under my care is one my brother Mark planted in a pot for me one and a half years ago. He has a green thumb - apparently the plant is still alive to this day because it yearns to someday live with it's planter.

Now I have a patio-full of dead tree branches and leaves that I get to clean up!
